How I work
For me, it’s about always being organized. That way, I can simultaneously focus in on the details while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
What I do best
I have an affinity for technological processes and systems that can help accelerate a company’s growth and optimize scaling. And I love pulling team members together to achieve company goals.
What I love
When I'm helping to create efficiencies for our team, when I’m leveling the playing field so everyone can maximize their roles, that’s what makes me happy.
Milly Corbella
How I work
I start off by listening. Whether it’s with a customer or a colleague, I always first take the time to listen, so then I can help find a solution. Clear communication helps everyone know the goals and expectations.
What I do best
I’m good at helping people. With our teams, this means supporting their training and checking in to see if they need my support for any issues that might come up. I’m also a great driver! You have to be in this business, because I’m always in my car.
What I love
I love to be on the move. Going to the gym, dancing, making weekend trips with my friends to new places—life’s too short to sit still!
Maura Feltault
How I work
I believe that motivation and encouragement are the keys to making sure my teammates feel welcome and empowered. Being a leader isn’t just about going in a direction, but making sure when you turn around that people are following you.
What I do best
At Clean Method, I’m encouraged daily to find creative solutions and develop this part of my skillset. And I’ve found I’m really good at writing the playbook as opposed to just following one.
What I love
My plants! I have 42, and I’ve named them all. I’m also a long-distance runner, having completed three marathons so far.
Todd Galaida
How I work
I surround myself with smart people who aren’t afraid to speak up. I listen, seriously consider others’ ideas, and focus on working together. As team leader, I aim to develop colleagues into high performers, so we can grow the business and create value for our customers.
What I do best
I get results. Growing Clean Method has taken hard work and a clear vision of where we want to go. I focus on the outcome and put the right pieces in place to get us there.
What I love
Modern art. I’ve served on the Board of Directors at the Phillips Collection in DC since 2018 and was its Vice-Chairman for three years.
Don Layfield
How I work
Taking care of people has always been my thing. So, I start by creating an environment where my colleagues are going to like coming to work every day. And that means always acting with integrity. We tell each other the truth, and we can fix any problem.
What I do best
I drive myself—whatever the situation—to be #1. I like to win. I always want to exceed expectations that people might have of me. I also have a big sense of humor and can tell jokes for hours.
What I love
I’ve been a professional musician since I was 15, playing sax, flute and clarinet in a lot of bands, all kinds of genres.
Kendrik Lechner
How I work
I’ve always been a positive person, and I try and share my optimism with everyone I come across. My goal is to see things from the other person’s perspective and create a positive atmosphere to solve problems together.
What I do best
When I was at Google as an account manager, I got to work with all different types of people, with companies of all sizes, too. That gave me a deep understanding of how people think, what they care about, and how to best support them.
What I love
My German roots and growing up in a bilingual household in Connecticut. I love every chance I get to visit my relatives in Germany!
Mary McFadden
How I work
I’ve done a little bit of everything at Clean Method: accounts payable, accounts receivable, operations, HR… No matter what, I always remember who’s paying my salary: it’s the customer. So if they’re experiencing an issue, I will fix it.
What I do best
Paperwork. I take literally hundreds of texts and emails and phone calls from colleagues and customers every month. It’s up to me to organize them into spreadsheets so that everyone knows what’s going on, and everything keeps moving efficiently.
What I love
Walking 3 miles every morning with my Pomeranian Huskie Sarah!
Jennifer Morris
How I work
With a degree in forensic accounting, my approach is very detail-oriented and analytical. If a number looks off to me, I need to know why. I seek deeper explanations to make sure every last digit in our books is right. I am great at balancing the books to the point where all you’ll see are zeroes.
What I do best
I treat every company I work for as “mine.” I’m fully dedicated to my job, my company and what we as a company are doing.
What I love
Useless information. You never know when the day might come when some bit of trivia will save a loved one’s life. (And yes, I speak from experience!)
Shauna Nuskey
How I work
As the first point of contact for our customers, my goal is to always show a positive attitude and exhibit empathy. I work to understand their pain points, help find solutions, and brighten their day.
What I do best
I’m at my best when working in a fast-paced environment, connecting constantly with both our customers and my colleagues.
What I love
I’m passionate about animals. I foster cats and have several reptiles at home. But the love of my life is definitely my smart, funny daughter.
Leonel Pena
How I work
It’s about starting with the idea that “yes,” I can do it. I don’t get nervous or upset. I just say “yes,” and then I get to work. I have a can-do attitude because whatever you need, I will make it happen.
What I do best
Before starting with Clean Method, I spent 20 years working as a janitor, then a manager at a restaurant, so I’ve had a lot of customer-facing service industry experience that I lean on. With experience and a positive attitude, I can always figure out a solution.
What I love
Spending quality time with my children and my wife. And I love walking my mini-poodle Ziggy, too!
Sam Perkins
How I work
I majored in Economics at Georgetown. There, and throughout my career, I’ve learned to take a conceptual approach to my job. At Clean Method, I identify strategies to grow our revenue, and I put a lot of thought into how to develop new ideas that will help our business grow.
What I do best
I can find common ground with just about anyone. Connecting with people is one of my biggest assets.
What I love
Traveling, and then cooking food from some of my favorite places. I’m particularly proud of my roasted red pepper dip.
Esmeralda Rubio
How I work
I don’t wait around to be told to do something. I just get it done. We’re given a lot of autonomy at Clean Method, so we can’t be afraid to solve issues on our own.
What I do best
I connect easily with our customers and our field technicians. I work with people in so many different states, coming from lots of different countries, each with their own personal stories. I share my expertise and experience with my colleagues and customers, and I learn a lot from them, too.
What I love
Spending time with family, especially playing softball with my older daughter and cheering on my younger one at gymnastics meets.
Heyllin Turcio
How I work
My goal is always to form a partnership with a customer. I want them to feel comfortable enough to tell me honestly when something isn’t working, so I can fix it.
What I do best
I’m at my best on a job site, where I can see a stain for myself and figure out with my cleaning crew how to clean it. Being in the field is the best way to understand my crews and help solve problems.
What I love
Tori, my toy poodle! And travel. Switzerland is currently at the top of the list of places I’ve been. Everything there is beautiful and pristine—just how I like things to be!

Since 2013, we have been dedicated to sustainable cleanliness and health-forward sanitization in service our customers. We’re proud to be recognized by some of the industry’s most important organizations and associations for the good job we’re doing. And it inspires us to do even better tomorrow.
When we created Clean Method in 2013, we had a simple mission: to fill a need in our community in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We saw many businesses struggling to find a commercial cleaning service company that not only provided expertise in the field, but one that cares deeply about its customers and their facilities.
Over the last decade plus, we’ve grown our business to markets up and down the East Coast, and stretching to the Midwest. As we’ve built ourselves into one of the most highly respected companies within our sector, we’ve never lost focus on our customers’ needs.
From our initial meeting with a new customer through a first-time cleaning, and a thorough debrief with our team and the customer afterward, we’re always listening. We aim to improve upon each service, each time. That’s why we spend so much time training and retraining our employees, responding to customer feedback, and updating our products and processes to stay at the cutting edge of the commercial cleaning industry.
